Liposuction Abdominal
Whether it is men or women, abdomen is the most common area of the body where liposuction is performed. Today it’s the trend of flat tummy and slim body shape and therefore most of the young people prefer undergoing liposuction to get that extra fat removed from their body. But then behind the success of abdominal liposuction, there exist few important factors like the amount and location of abdominal fat, individual’s history of weight gain and loss, in case of women their history of pregnancy, and lastly the age and sex of the patient.
For predicting the victory of abdominal liposuction, the location of abdominal fat is very important. Actually there exist two kinds of abdominal fats in a human’s body. One is superficial and the other is deep. Superficial abdominal fat is located just below the skin but its lies above the abdominal muscles; whereas the deep abdominal fat is located inside the abdominal cavity on the intestines. There are some individuals that in comparison to subcutaneous fat have more deep fat. Well, subcutaneous fat can be removed by liposuction but the deep i.e. the intestine fat cannot be removed by liposuction. The reason behind this is that it becomes too dangerous to reach intestine with the help of laser. The fat that is deposited on the intestines can only be diminished by weight loss that is done by maintaining diet and following exercise regimes. Thus liposuction is not a suitable technique for removing all of the abdominal fat. At the same time, there exist some patients that have more of subcutaneous fat than intestinal fat. For such individuals, abdominal liposuction can bring in good cosmetic improvements.
Women have softer and less fibrous fat in comparison to men, and therefore abdominal liposuction is easier to perform over them. But women have many other aspects that are linked with their abdomen, like pregnancy. During this phase of their life, their abdominal muscles stretch to a great extent and this is the reason that why their lower abdomen get bulge over to a certain degree. It is this curvature of the abdominal wall muscles that helps in identifying the flatness or shape of the abdominal silhouette following liposuction. Well, according to records, abdominal liposuction is very affective over women as it tends to bring them out with desired results easily.

For individuals who are obese, as soon as they start losing weight, their body produces fat that is more fibrous. This fat can be easily removed with the help of liposuction.
Before going out for abdominal liposuction, it is important to be aware of its post affects. Following liposuction, there are chances that the upper abdomen skin may appear slightly wrinkled. Especially in case of older patients, the skin elasticity at the upper abdomen lower down as it keeps decreasing by time. So following liposuction, their skin appears somewhat like a crêpé paper or we can better define it as slightly wrinkled. Well, liposuction does not create any such effects over the lower abdominal skin of the patient.
